We are delighted to announce that 175 Speakers and Delegates from 40 countries have already registered for our forthcoming event 'FILM AND MEDIA 2014: The Fourth Annual London Film and Media Conference. This year's theme: 'Visions of Identity: Global Film & Media'. Organised by Academic Conferences London, the Conference takes place on 26-28 June 2014 at the Institute of Education Conference Centre, University of London, 20 Bedford Way, Bloomsbury, London WC1H 0AL, UK.
The event features Keynotes by Professor Larry Goldberg (University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill), ‘Stranger in a Strange Land: Cultural Studies v the World’; Professor Mandy Merck (Royal Holloway, University of London), ‘Identity, Celebrity and Stardom’; and Professor Daya Thussu (University of Westminster), ’Identities in Change in the Era of Global Media and Communication’. The huge array of Panel Papers to be delivered covers a wide and fascinating range of themes from established and emerging researchers around the world.
Alongside dozens of Panel events, the conference will also feature a screening of John Akomfrah's tribute film 'The Stuart Hall Project'.
