Dear zooarchers,
I would welcome any guess on this bone. It has a bizarre groove in it (on photo 6) that seems anatomical, but that I have never seen on a bone before.

It comes from a Thule site in Nunavik. Species represented in the assemblage include seals (Pusa hispida, Erignathus barbatus, possibly Phoca vitulina), walrus, caribou, fox, and duck. Possible species are other seals, beluga whale, polar bear.
Thanks,
Francois
