Dear SPMers,
At first level I carried out a few F contrasts (canonical + temporal/dispersion derivatives), and ended up with some ess files. Is it incorrect to use these ess_*.img files at the second level analysis (eg, to conduct a one-sample t test)? I'm getting more interesting activations than if I use con images...
If it's not possible, as I suspect it isn't, what is the reason for this, and is there a way to include the derivatives at the second level?
Thank you!
Angela
