medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Lovely images. Unfortunately, the announcement fails to specify whose sanctoral calendar the BL Medieval Manuscripts Bloggers have chosen to follow ("timed to coincide with their individual feast days" is a bit vague, no?). Surely the Bloggers don't believe that the position of saints' individual feast days on such calendars either is uniform now or was always so medievally.
Best,
John Dillon
