Martin, Aneesa,
I have used both MODES for Windows and we currently employ MODES Complete. i think that there is no comparison, MODES Complete is hands down a far superior product when compared to MODES for windows. I Would list the following as some of the basic benefits:
User friendly interface
Export options are simple and quick (Exporting to PDF I use a lot)
Backup process is simple and easy to manage
However, i have to state the obvious and say that there are other products on the market that offer more capability. MODES is great but does not have some of the other options that other leading CMS do, Digital Asset Management, Digital Rights Management to name but 2.
As for MODES Marrying well with our website. it does not. any image / file that exists within MODES, is actually a linked file that resides on the hard drive / server. you can however, at an additional cost, have the MODES User Association, host your MODES and serve this back to you via a Web interface.
hope this is of some use?
Arran
