Dear all,
Can anyone point to an explanation of how publishers' e-journal licence conditions, in particular the notion of "Single Site" vs "Multi Site" access, might affect different groups of users - off-campus access, branch campuses, distance learners, partner institutions, etc., and how institutions administer/authenticate e-resources with these different "Site" conditions.
I've been asked for an explanation of whether/when it might be appropriate for us to choose single over multi site licences, and how we might configure authentication appropriately for each. Licencing is not an area of e-resource management I know a great deal about.
Many thanks for any light anyone can shed.
Paul
