Hi Sarah as you will have seen a more detailed reply to you is off-list,
At Dartmouth Museum we are about to install a decent sized
electronic 'Photo Frame' on the wall mount for exactly the same reason. To
get people to see what they might miss if they don't come up the stairs. We
looked at various other possibilities and decided that a bit more cost on a
photo frame using a simple memory disc that loops the content, would be an
easy solution. Mounted in a fancy box might give a bit more security to the
disc if that is considered necessary. No additional equipment is needed.
Regards,
David
Lingard
Hon. Curator,
Dartmouth Museum
