Friends,
We've just seen two posts go by in which the ENTIRE contents of a prior day's FULL DIGEST followed a brief query and response.
Idil was posting here for the first time, so I understand the mistake of grabbing a daily digest and hitting reply. Kev is a long-time list member and an experienced list user — I would have thought that he would trim the irrelevant content away.
Come on, friends. This list runs a massive noise-to-signal ratio. This is nearly 800 lines of post for 40 lines of content.
Please trim prior posts to focus on the content you intend to convey — I found Kev's note useful and interesting. As interesting as I found my own post in the prior material, I didn't need to read it again. (Well, actually, I've read it several times, but I go to the web interface to see what I wrote.)
Yours,
Ken
