Does anyone know of a relatively "inexpensive" (free to a few hundred U.S. dollars max) QC program. I frequently analyze QC independent of an LIS during method evaluations, troubleshooting, etc. I'd like to be able to see Levey-Jennings plots of evaluation or routine QC, calculate mean, sd, cv, TE, 2sd range, etc. and easily omit outliers from the plots and stats. Except for the L-J plots, I have always done this in Excel, but it is cumbersome. I do not have evaluation software like EP Evaluator or StatusPro available to me. I downloaded a 30-day free trial of Analyse-It, another method evaluation program, and may well buy it for that purpose, but oddly enough it cannot analyse routine ("simple", i.e., singlicate results) QC.
So far it appears that MedLab QC developed by Phillipe Marquis would satisfy my needs and is or at least it was free. Mike Collins graciously tried to send me the file, but my email system won't accept executable file attachments. I've tried to download it from medlabqc.software.informer.com , but that source downloads all kinds of "utilities" that I asked not to download, but never downloaded MedLab QC.
Please let me know if you know how I can get MedLab QC or the equivalent.
Thanks. -Jim
