There's a very fine example in Golden Valley, Bitton - between Bristol and
Bath north of the Avon. Restored (and fired!) by BIAS some 20 years ago I
guess - it *must* be written up in the BIAS Journal, I'm sure, though I
haven't got a reference. Can't remember off the top of my head whether it
was Golden Valley Colliery or New Colliery - working on both - the one with
the furnace is located at NGR ST 6904 7107 I believe.
