My questions are potentially going to sound rude and I do want to assure you that that is not my intent.



What is the rationale for forwarding articles such as this one to the list?  What do the senders of these messages expect that readers might do with the information that yet another high profile person has been accused of plagiarism?



These are genuine questions.
