Would you please expand further on how Simon's definition of designing
"...has greater covering power"? How someone engaged in techniques of mere
representation, whether sensual (visual, kinetic, olfactory, etc.) or
symbolic (mathematical, discursive, performative), and another one engaged
in reflective, 'clinical' diagnosis of artifact-users-context interactions,
are all "[devising] courses of action aimed at changing existing situations
into preferred ones” ?
