Yikes, David!
I'm reflecting still on my response to the last note from Terry .... And not even sure I should reply.
Whether I am sensible or silly, I've given real time to these responses.
This post of yours puzzles me, David.
It's not really lurking to make such a grand claim without actually stating your claim. You may
be right, but it isn't clear to me that I've stumbled into any black holes. Terry argues that
I have done so, but then, you seem to disagree with both of us.
There is a bad habit among fans in some sports of lobbing beer bottles or giant iced soft drinks
at players on the field. I did not expect this of you -- we have had agreements in the past and
disagreements in the past, but I've always observed you to state your case. This time,
I feel as though a bottle sailed at me from the stands. In my book, this is not lurking.
Your drenched friend ... with a lump on the head. "And what rough beast, its hour come
round at last ...."

I am happy lurking on this one too!
But it did strike me that Terry and Ken have, between them, successfully tripped over and fallen
into quite a few of the philosophical black holes of our western tradition. What goes around, comes around.
