Thanks for this - I'd be grateful if you could re-check. I heard a
lecture by Jeremy Ashbee at the weekend, where he mentioned that 10
years later a bishop (one of the supporters of the Cantilupe
canonisation) gave instructions for the boy to be "educated for the church".
The problem with the identification is that Roger Conway seems to be
about 10 to 20 years too young. It would help if we knew when he
incepted as Doctor of Theology at Oxford.
