Dear all,
I will be very interesting to hear a follow-up on the activities
undertaken since the last post on Google Analytics & Blackboard to
obtain user statistics.
We tried to capture user activity on specific blackboard applications,
such as running a course report, sending e-mail, discussion board
replay and adding a blog post, in different GA profiles, and
standardised the metrics by using URL Destination Goals.
The level of detail is promising, but it will be very interesting to
know if others have done similar things to compare notes and methods.
I have written down my notes and suggestions at: http://goo.gl/a7Gmh.
Has anyone undertaken a comparison of the Google Analytics results
with analysing the Blackboard activity tables or log files? I know
that it is two different methods, but somehow it must be able to show
at least similar trends over time. Any suggestions?
Kind regards,
Hendrik
