In response to Mark Gamble's notification last week about Tii Direct integration. We now have a similar JAVA error occurring.." java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: 0"
Our fairly extensive testing in August, plus assurances by the Tii team at the user group event in Newcastle convinced me to move to Direct. However last Friday the above issue appeared. We too are in constant dialogue with Tii help desk! We are managed hosted, running SP8.
I'm reluctant to install Basic & Direct in the same VLE - but options are limited. We have people begun to deploy Direct assignments & receive submissions!
Is anyone brave enough to run Direct & Basic on the same VLE?
Other ideas, other than rolling back to Basic?
Message from Mark last week >>>
"> Dear All,
We installed the latest Turnitin Direct Building Block successfully
Around 3 weeks ago. Last week it ceased functioning, returning a Java error.
Turnitin itself still works fine and as an interim, we have turned on the old Building Block.
We're on Bb 9.1.82223.0 with Turnitin Direct Assignment for Blackboard
Options v20120404.1. We're in constant dialogue with Turnitin UK.
> Question: anyone else got a busted integration?
Regards.
