medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Herewith a link to an earlier (2010) 'Saints of the day' for 10. September (including St. Nemesius of Alexandria; Sts. Menodora, Metrodora, and Nymphodora; St. Pulcheria; St. Aubert of Avranches; Bl. Oglerius of Trino [or of Lucedio]; St. Nicholas of Tolentino:

Further to Nemesius of Alexandria:
Nemesius of Alexandria (at left; at right, St. John the Baptist) as depicted by Spinello Aretino in a panel painting from 1384 now in the Museum of Fine Arts in Budapest:

Further to Pulcheria:
In that earlier post's notice of this saint, the link to a view of a solidus issued by Marcian celebrating his marriage to Pulcheria now takes one only to a search screen at the Hunterian in Glasgow. Form there, click on 'Search the Collection' in the menu at right and then, once the new screen has come up, click on 'Numismatics Collections'. In the search form that will then come up, use 'Marcian' and 'marriage' as search terms. The item in question is Catalogue number 32543. Here's a new link directly to the page with expandable images of this coin (but I fear that this link too is not stable):

Further to Autbert of Avranches:
In that earlier post's notice of this saint, the first of the two links to views of his twelfth(?)-century statue at the abbey of Mont-Saint-Michel no longer functions.
In the same notice, the link to the page with expandable views of the full-page illumination of Autbert's vision in the twelfth- and thirteenth-century cartulary of the abbey of Mont-Saint-Michel (Avranches, Bibliothèque municipale, ms. 210, fol. 4v) no longer functions in that way. And the 'recherche experte' search engine at enluminures.culture.fr is not working at the moment. Fortunately, the link that follows it (to a view of a detail of that illumination showing the angel touching Autbert) does still function correctly.
In the same notice, the first of the links to illustrated pages on the chapelle Notre-Dame-sous-Terre at Mont-Saint-Michel no longer functions in that way. Ditto for the first of the links to illustrated pages on the abbey's chapelle Saint-Aubert.
Further to Nicholas of Tolentino:
In that earlier post's notice of this saint, the fourth link to the views (of the interior) of the Cappellone di San Nicola in Tolentino no longer functions.
Add this view of Nicholas of Tolentino as depicted in a mid- or slightly later fifteenth-century panel painting by an associate of, or follower of, Bonifacio Bembo, now in Cremona's Museo Civico 'Ala Ponzone':
