Firstly many thanks for bringing this to my attention, Phyll. I have
removed the user of course, and brought it to the attention of the
JISCmail team.
Hopefully they can find some way of preventing this, but with an open
list like this, it is always a risk.
Therefore you should only click on a link in an email if you have good
reason to believe that it is genuine.
This is one of the reasons why we don't encourage people to post
attachments or links to the list in the first place. Even if they are
genuine, it makes the list "look" like a source of potential spam to
some spam filtering software.
