If you mean CIPFA, they have been collecting these figures for years & years.
The scandal has been that endless time was spent amassing them, but
very little on analysis.
National trends used to be picked out by Lisu - until MLA knocked even
that on the head.
But there should be scope for masses of learning from comparing
services on specific areas - about how to spend money well, whether
better bookstock increases issues, or closing branches affects visits
etc etc etc.
If Ed Vaizey can do something about this - and if the figures
themselves could be published with less glacial slowness, so they are
still actually relevant, I'd be quite happy.
