Dear colleagues,
The School of Earth Sciences at the University of Bristol seeks a geologist to work on problems of volcanic stratigraphy, tectonics and landscape evolution in the central Andes with relevance to the formation of porphyry copper deposits.
This full-time postdoctoral post is part of a large, BHP Billiton-funded initiative into porphyry copper research and is funded for two years with the possibility of extension.
You should have a PhD in Earth Sciences and prior research experience in volcanology, sedimentology, tectonics and/or geomorphology.
