medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Greetings again,
At some point in the distant past I was taught that the definition of a miracle as being something "contra naturam"
came to the fore with Thomas Aquinas. Realizing that Augustine would not have approved of such a definition (but for me this is beside the point) can anyone tell me - or point me to some good bibliography - on the use of a miracle as something "contra naturam"?
Thanks,
Meg
