unfortunately, the beauty of this object may only be imagined from the "en
principe" photo of it.
i've got a copy of the original at home and should bring it in and scan it
properly.
someday.
otOh, there's a slight chance that the musée de Chartres, which seems to
specialize in "misplacing" items from the archeological patrimony of the city
and region, may not (yet) have totally lost this one and some decent .jpgs of
it might be snapped by some aspiring young photographer or other who might
find herself passing through the town sometime in this millennium...
