Appeal figures now come from the Justice Department http://www.justice.gov.uk/publications/statistics-and-data/tribunals/sscs-stats.htm
They've now started issuing monthly figures because of the backlog of ESA appeals.
You should bear in mind that there is a switch between disallowances and sanctions due to a change in benefit rules. Previously, people accused of not being available for work were disallowed benefits, but could make a new claim quickly. The sanction means they get reduced benefits, but lasts for longer. Therefore, taking disallowances and sanctions together is recommended.

Subject: JSA Benefit Sanctions
Hi,
I am looking into JSA benefit sanctions and the statistics via the DWP tabulation tool are extremely interesting. The increased use of sanctions is an important, but mainly overlooked, aspect of the Welfare Reform Bill. The issue was mentioned in a discussion on this site in November 2010 so I was wondering if anyone had looked into this since 2010?
And also, if anyone knows where there are stats for the number of appeals against JSA sanctions, and how many sanction decisions were overturned at appeal?
Many thanks
