This reminded me of Gray and El-Kadiki (http://jcp.bmjjournals.com/content/63/2/99.full.pdf) and Freedman (Is the medical undergraduate curriculum ‘fit for purpose’?, Ann Clin Biochem January 2008 45:1—2).
Does anyone have any recent experience on educating and preparing final year clinical students and newly qualified doctors?
In Oxford for the final year students we have a Revision Course with two lectures on Clinical Biochemistry, and some of the Colleges organise small-group teaching.
We then have sessions for the FY2 doctors. We don't have to arrange these, just get ourselves onto the list of sessions.
