A small point, already made a bit more generally in 2002 in response to an earlier appearance of the first half of this notice's final sentence (see < http://tinyurl.com/7dp7rtk >: it would be more appropriate to say that Ambrogio Traversari was _a_ moving spirit of the Council of Florence. Saying that he was _the_ moving spirit unduly slights the important activity of others, e.g. cardinal Giuliano Cesarini and Basil Bessarion, then the metropolitan of Nicaea.
