medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Dear Genevra,

From your very fine photos I'm not convinced about the Roman de la Rose. There are so much possibilities for a scene where a lady is discussing with a priest resp. a monk. If you want a "big name", than think on "De amore" of Andreas Capellanus, but this is also only one of hundreds of choices. But thanks for the very rare treasure.
yours
Karl
