An interesting case. I am speculating whether the tooth you illustrate
had its tip broken by an accident during life, and then got into its
smooth shape by attrition. I have seen that effect in human anterior teeth.
So can I ask whether the three other canine teeth are present?
I also notice a circular spot in the middle of the occlusal surface of
the canine. Is that dentine, or the exposed pulp cavity? If the pulp
cavity, then it would not have been long before the dog got a periapical
abscess from bacterial infection. Is there any sign of an abscess?
