After getting a few private (and kind) responses, I thought I'd better be a
little more clear. I didn't mean to alarm anyone.
My husband is taking me away for a vacation in the mountains over the long
weekend. It's been a gruelling week of medical stuff and he decided I needed
the break - I don't get to argue about it. Not that I would. The weather is
perfect for relaxation: highs in the 70s (f), lows in the mid 40s, walking
in the woods sans mosquitoes, campfires at night... and no doctors or
needle-wielding nurses. What's to argue with that?
I shall have to be more mindful of how I word any other message like my
previous.
However, this does also remind me that I wanted to announce that I will not
be continuing my part of the Feasts of the Day after New Year's Day in 2012
(sorry George, I should have sent a message to you first). The effects of my
therapy are forcing me to be too unreliable for a daily post. I have enjoyed
this, and plan on continuing my enjoyment of it up until December 31, but
the List deserves someone who knows that they will be at their computer
every day.
