Recognising excellent biomedical researchers...
Do you know an outstanding biomedical researcher who is in the early stages of their research career? If so, please consider nominating them for the 2011 Foulkes Foundation Medal (http://www.acmedsci.ac.uk/foulkes)
The medal is awarded every two years to an individual who has demonstrated excellence in biomedical research. Candidates will have made significant achievements in the first 15 years of research since completion of their PhD. Nominees do not need to be an Academy Fellow.
To nominate, please submit a letter outlining the nominee's principal achievements, their significance and impact, and attach a copy of their CV and publication list. Nominations and further info: [log in to unmask]
The submission deadline is 12 September and the winner will receive the medal at the Academy's AGM on 24 November.
