To clarify the British Library's position with respect to the query circulated about the British Standards Database. This is a database that the Library purchases access to under a licence agreement with the supplier. The current licence has expired and the Library's legal department is in discussions on a proposed new agreement. It is hoped that that this will be concluded very soon and that the database will again be available.
