Hi Albina
I agree with Julie. I have seen plastic bags, 40 years old, erodin into small flakes. Text written on the outside of the bag on whitepainted stripes was turned into loose letters. There should be paper labels (archive-proof paper and pen quality) inside the bags. Archaeozoological collections must be curated and checked every now and then to see that evreything is in order. I guess that no plastic last "for ever".
When a bone material is analyzed and reported ir is opened up for further analysis. Everything must be kept like Julie says. New analytical methods are beeing developed, new researchers must be able to test old results.
