Dear colleagues:
As I reread my last post, I noticed three mistakes that I would like to correct. Sorry for having been too hasty in sending off the post without careful proofreading.
1) The sentence "Ken has responded to my post with a lengthy article and Terry has followed that with a post that is quite far from the issue. I originally raised" should read "Ken has responded to my post with a lengthy article and Terry has followed that with a post that is quit far from the issue I originally raised."
2) The sentence ‘In the humanities, the philosophers Michel Foucault and Jacques Derrida, for example have informed art history, literature, and even anthropology” should have read, “In the humanities and social sciences….”
3) The sentence, "As scholars in the field have learned about the New Criticism as part of their training ......" should read "Scholars in the field have learned about the New Criticism as part of their training...'
