Hi,
I have been working on this for quite a while and found that the licences can be costly.
I found details from the Film Bank for licensing information (http://www.filmbank.co.uk/) and found that the average PVSL licence cost is around £81 for a group licence. However if it is open to all, this is adjusted to footfall and increased to £634 per annum.
No admittance fees can be charged. This requires a different licence which costs around £80 per film
A PRS licence to cover any music in the soundtrack is also required; - this is about £130 per year
If you find out anything different, please let me know as cost is prohibitive to taking this project further
Thanks
Karen

Subject: Film Shows
Hello
Is anyone involved in showing films for the public in their library? If so, could you share what licences are required please? (and who supplies it/them?)
We are exploring whether we could show films e.g. for kids or linked to reader groups. Depending on costs, we would like to use a number of libraries and have regular events during the year.
With thanks,
