Workshop : Social networking opportunities for migrant community
organisations – register now!

If you are a representative of a migrant community organisation or
working with refugees and asylum seekers register now for a one-day
workshop on social networking for activism and collaboration on refugee
issues.
The aim of the workshop is to inform participants about opportunities
and models of online collaboration for action and information sharing
relevant to refugee groups and will include discussions of the social
media tools available and projects using these resources.
Speakers include:
* Jan Brulc - Communications officer, Migrants’ Rights Network
* Maryam Pasha- Network and Innovations Manager, Migrants’ Rights Network
* Dr. Nicholas Gill – Lecturer, Exeter University, Asylum Network
* Ezinda Franklin-Houtzager – Refugee Health Network, Medact
The workshop is strictly limited to 18 participants so register now to
avoid disappointment. Representatives of migrant community organisations
will be given priority.
Participants should be comfortable using the internet.
The workshop is free of charge and will run from 10:00am -3:30pm
Lunch will be provided and reimbursement for travel expenses is available.
