Dear Francesca,
Good question.
Referencing depends on which format you are using.
I recommend APA 6th (or APA 5th) as this seems to have the widest range of
publication types in its style templates in Endnote.
Edith Cowan University in Perth has a good online guide for using APA 6th

Subject: referencing a webpage
Dear List members,
I stumbled across a referencing problem, I hope your expertise might help me
to figure out the best way to solve it. I have tried to look it up on the
interned but I'm still unsure...
I need to reference a webpage for which I don't have the year of
publication. Do you think that I could use the year from the Last Update
Date?
Besides, I don't have to reference only one webpage, mot more than one that
have the same title but different subtitles. I think it's in fact a book,
and the author created one webpage for each chapter of the book. So how do
you think I should reference the different pages/chapters?
Should I create one reference for each chapter (which all have different
URL), or should I create only one reference for the website/main title and
indicate the different webpages/chapters in some other way?
I hope this was clear.
Thanks!
Best regards
Francesca
