medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Today's Oxford DNB Life of the Day is my (she blushes) biography of James
Goldwell (d. 1499), bishop of Norwich - of interest as an example of a
15th-century royal servant/ecclesiastical adminstrator then bishop. He was
an early patron of printing who also left his mark on Norwich cathedral.
