Useful figures for us to have to hand when the need arises, and £25
million was a bargain!
Richard North (sorry to keep going back to his You & Yours comments)
said almost right at the end that there are zillions of ways of
replacing the existing library services. He is right but I doubt any of
them would be as cost effective as using the public libraries to deliver
them.
