Dear Kristina,
I knew I might get in to trouble with the Fjord - My Rapid wasn't too
pleased when I wrote about it pining - so now I must adjust my story to
indicate that the stapler is pining for the pine forests which is even
more poetic.
Also, thank you for the industrial design geography lesson. When I
place my Rapid stapler on my pine wood IKEA table, my equipment will
feel at home in the world and I will be so Swedish that my hair will
turn blond. What a shame I don't have a Volvo or I could take my Rapid47
for long drives to visit the pine plantations of northern New South
Wales and I could play it ABBA songs and I could speak about kärlek and
drömmar.
Too many bad jokes for one day - my stapler is a good stapler.
cheers
keith

Dear Keith.
Most document handling Swedes have a Rapid: what else is there to have?
You've better to take good care of it: it will last a normal life time,
might even survive you.
BUT, where do the Fjords enter the picture? We do not have any Fjords
in
Sweden, the Nordic ones are solely Norweigan affairs: Hestra is
situated in
the pine wood district in Southern Sweden, in Småland, which has also
seen
the birth of IKEA. Not in Hestra though but in Älmhult, which is in the
same
county.
Cheers from Kristina and her two Rapids.
