Dear Colleagues,
One of our Gastro-Enterologists has asked me whether anyone in the UK or Ireland provides diagnostic tests for Bile Acid Malabsorption? This is a condition I admit I know very little about. He has mentioned the selenium-75-homocholic acid taurine (SeHCAT) scan and serum 7-alpha-hydroxy-4-cholestene-3-one. I am unaware of any Centre offering these tests, unless you know otherwise.
Best wishes
Peter
