Dear Colleagues,
I want to thank the many EATAW members who participated in the recent conference of EWCA (the European Writing Centers Association) that was organised and hosted by Ann Mott at the American University of Paris three weeks ago. Many of us on this listserv are members of both EATAW and EWCA, and appreciate the close connections in studying the theories and pedagogies of writing that the two organisations share.
I also want to highlight that our EATAW colleague Katrin Girgensohn has been appointed Chair of the EWCA Board. Katrin and the EWCA Board have many plans for taking EWCA forward, and both she and I believe that there is great potential for EWCA and EATAW members to collaborate on writing centre and writing pedagogy-related projects.

For those interested in accessing the excellent programme of presentations given at the EWCA 2010 conference, please see:

Best wishes,
Lisa
