Hello,
Sorry to raise this topic again and for cross posting
There is a strong likelihood that we are going to have an additional 12 computers added to the library network. Our in-house computer booking system cannot cope with any additional computers, its falling over regularly now as it is.
I know that MyPC and Netloan are 2 popular booking systems so we will be looking at these, but it would be helpful if you have either of these if you could let me know how you find working with it. Was it easy to install, do you find any recurring faults, is it upgraded very often, how flexible is it to adding more machines, what is the support like you get from the supplier, what does it allow you to do - can you see what students are looking at, can you block sites, can you block students? Would you buy it again?
Do you have a different system you would recommend?
Any help and information you could give me will be appreciated.
Thank you in advance,
Regards,
