Development Officer
Christians in Science
Following the award of a grant from the John Templeton Foundation,
Christians in Science (www.cis.org.uk) is seeking to appoint a full time
Development Officer. The appointee will expand our work in universities,
workplaces and churches and enhance the role of local groups.
The position is funded for three years and the salary will be in the region
of £25k p.a. depending on qualifications and experience. The post would suit
a recent science PhD or someone with several years experience since
graduating with a first degree in a scientific subject. The successful
candidate will have an interest in the interactions between science and
faith, must be in sympathy with the aims and ethos of Christians in Science,
and will have knowledge and experience of the beliefs and culture of the
mainstream Evangelical Christian churches.
