medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
At the Council of Constance, Leonardo Dati, Dominican master general in
his later years (1414-1425), preached a sermon on the feast of St.
Francis. It was too pro-papal for many & set off an exchange of polemics.
See the entry for Dati in Scriptores Ordinis Praedicatorum medii aevi.
