I also like the list the way it is and don't really mind the problems
identified (after all I can just skip those threads). Although, it does get
a little tedious when it serves to feed the ego of one member ( 'oh its all
about our learned friend the protagonist again' kind of thing)... all of it
is useful and informative of the different thoughts and perspectives in our
community.
However, in response to Ann, I have often thought it might be fun to try
these kind of conversations (ie. about design research) in one of the other
forms of social networking available on the net these days... like the
dynamic form of conversations of Twitter. Probably not every bodies 'cup of
tea' but may interest a certain section of us (like those of us addicted to
social networking and want to discuss more than what our friends had for
dinner). I do do my own kind of private design research tweeting but I'm
mainly talking to myself.
If anyone knows of anything like that which might already exist I would be
interested. But this would definitely not stop me from engaging with the
list as well.
Best wishes to all
