The article had three different topics:
1)Support for the reform (I would leave this to Americans, but I am
personally in favour)
2)Support for a greater role of patient involvement and humanism in
healthcare (I am wholeheartedly in favour)
3)Interpretation of an existing conflict between "Evidence based practice"
(the bad people) and "Shared decision making" (the good guys) as a barrier
to point 2 above (which I think is bogus and politically dangerous, and
should be strongly rejected, both in general and within the EBM community)
