With apologies for cross posting, but here maybe is a soap box opportunity?
For you not me!
Digital Revolution http://www.bbc.co.uk/digitalrevolution/ the open source
documentary about the web is launching this week - the blog, the site, the
community, the UGC.
The BBC has got a big event on Friday with Tim Berners-Lee, Susan
Greenfield, Chris Anderson, presenter Aleks Krotoski, and a host of other
web luminaries, and they're hoping to impress with some videos and images of
people, public and celebs, giving their interpretation of the web. This is
also something they're releasing on You Tube as a separate seeding of the
'meme'. See:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qG4kd0rPD1g
Essentially, it's a call to finish the sentence 'The web is…' with whatever
you want, words, pictures, mime, bricolage… Whatever your interpretation -
just upload it with #thewebis tag.
And that's where they would really appreciate, some content: whatever your
medium - pop up a quick vid on your channel and share it with us
http://www.youtube.com/thewebis.
Or take a photo that represents 'The Web Is…' and add it to our The Web is
flickr group http://www.flickr.com/groups/thewebis/
, or upload a video (webcam is perfect) of you saying 'The web is…' One
word, five words, a poem - it's your call.
Even just a tweet. Please just tag anything you contribute #thewebis
Cheers
Michael
