Please pass this on to any colleagues or students that might be
interested in attending. I guess this only relates to the UK though...

The annual DART (Doctoral Advanced Research Training) collaborative
conference is to be held on 11 June 2009, 10am-5pm at the Middlesex
University Cat Hill Campus, London.
These training conferences, which comprise mainly student presenters,
are run just like a professional research conference. There is a
keynote speaker, opportunities for social networking, and skilled
supervisors in attendance as an expert panel to offer advice. The
event is conducted in a closed and supportive atmosphere.
There will be seven student presentations.
We are fortunate this year to have Professor Andrée Woodcock of
Coventry University deliver the keynote lecture:
‘Design and research: experiences from the front line’
In addition to students and staff of the partner universities, we are
still able to offer a small number of places to especially students,
and staff, who may wish to attend. Attendance is free of charge, but
must be booked in advance by email to the conference administrator
