I found this in Powicke & Cheney, Councils and synods vol. 2 pt. 2
(Oxford, 1964), p. 1388 in the statutes attributed to Archbishop Winchelsey:
Item, precipimus quod de ctero nullus sepelitur in ecclesia nisi rector
et patronus..."
