Dear Zooarchers,
Occasionally, non-zooarchaeologists request to join BoneCommons because
they are curious to find out about bones they've found. I think it's
great that there is a general interest in zooarchaeology, and that these
people are finding out how to reach out to specialists.
These posts occur infrequently, but I have the feeling the posters are
not getting the answers they'd hoped for, since it takes an email to the
zooarch list to alert people to a post.
So, I'd like to ask a favor of any of you who have a few free moments
(ha!)-- Would you please have a look at the following two posts from the
interested public and hit the "Reply" button on the post if you want to
answer their questions. I think it would mean a lot to these people to
have answers from real live zooarchaeologists. You'll need to log in to
reply, so you can use the general zooarch login (username: zooarch,
password: bones).
