MRI Operations Officer
The University of Reading Centre for Integrative Neuroscience &
Neurodynamics is searching for an experienced MRI Officer to take
overall responsibility for the technical operations of the
University's new research-dedicated MRI Facility, and contribute to a
dynamic inter-disciplinary research team.
You will oversee and carry out the running of scanning sequences,
consult on the design and execution of new studies, and work with key
academics to plan optimal usage of the research facility. You need
strong all-round communication skills and attention to detail.
You will have experience in structural and functional MRI, computer
data handling and networking skills, ability to work independently on
own initiative and also to work in a team
ability to interact and respond helpfully and flexibly to research
academics. Experience of working in a science research environment
would be an advantage, as would familiarity with EEG, TMS and/or NIRS.
